You are considered to be an international applicant if you are living outside of Canada or in Canada and are not; a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Persons.
International students are responsible for all of their visa/study permit, travel, health insurance, accommodation and financial arrangements.

Portage College provides security at the Lac La Biche campus. Staff are available to assist students should the need arise, and phones with direct lines to Campus Security are located at a variety of locations on campus.

The Portage College Students' Association (SA) is an important part of your time here at the College. The SA advocates for and represents you as a student.
It is the responsibility of students to arrange childcare or enroll school age children in an appropriate facility.
