Portage College is extremely proud of its Men's Hockey Team. The Voyageurs represent Portage College in the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference, the ACAC is the governing body for intercollegiate athletics in Alberta.
This is the third season of competition for the Voyageurs in ACAC Hockey; they have constantly made it to the first round of the playoffs in all three of their seasons.
The home games and practices are held at the Bold Centre which is a 233,000 square foot facility, open seven days a week with two NHL regulation ice surfaces. The major arena has a seating capacity of 1000 which Voyageurs fans will appreciate.![]()
The College Team logo depicts the traditional voyageur that used to travel on the lakes and rivers of northeastern Alberta. The logo epitomizes the teamwork and cooperation as well as the courage, stamina and perseverance that are necessary to achieve success in both academics and athletics. Team colors are green and blue.
