Agricola contains bibliographic records from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Library. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also includes nearly 500 full text reference books, biographies, primary source documents, and an Image Collection of photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily.
The Internet is a rich source of material. The sites listed here are just a starting point. If you are looking for a specific topic, try typing keywords into one of the basic search tools such as Yahoo, AltaVista, Google, etc.
Sustainable Resource Development (SRD) fights forest fires, manages fish and wildlife, oversees the development of Alberta's forests, and manages the use of public lands. The "Forests" section includes forest health and management, enforcement and compliance, and research, education and history. Information on water and waste management and other environmental concerns can be found at the Alberta Environment website.
