This one-day course provides a basic introduction to spill response. Topics covered include: spill planning and preparedness, spill safety, initial spill response, spill response organization, containment and recovery. Basic information is also provided on how to respond safely and efficiently to hydrocarbon, non-hydrocarbon, industrial laboratory and household spills, as well as, the legal reporting obligations of spills of various sizes and volumes.
Location: Lac La Biche or arrangements can be made for off-site training.
