You'll receive 90 hours of theory and 189 hours of practical experience including Emergency First Aid, Food Safe and Sanitation and Kitchen WHIMIS certification. The course covers basic cooking techniques, baking principles and introduces the student to the safe use of kitchen tools and equipment, as well as demonstrating the ability to read and follow a recipe.
