This 16-hour theory course prepares bus drivers with the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the pre-trip inspection and individual driving test to qualify for the "S" endorsement certification. Topics covered include school bus inspection and maintenance, loading, unloading and on-bus procedures, defensive driving, emergency and collision procedures, and transporting persons with disabilities. Students must be able to drive a bus prior to the course and must possess a valid Class 1, 2, 3 or 4 license.
This course can be delivered in any location, provided numbers are sufficient.
