Electrical Safety

The Electrical Safety in the Workplace course discusses the basic fundamentals of electricity, electric shock and its effects on the human body, and the common electrical hazards found on the construction site. The focus is on avoiding electric shock by following hazard identification and prevention practices. Emphasis is placed on the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code 2006, CAS Standard Z462 - Workplace Electrical Safety, and the Canadian Electrical Code - Section 2.
