Camp Cook
In just 8-weeks you could be earning a wage in an industrial camp. You'll receive 90 hours of theory and 189 hours of practical experience including Emergency First Aid, Food Safe and Sanitation and Kitchen WHIMIS certification. The course covers basic cooking techniques, baking principles and introduces the student to the safe use of kitchen tools and equipment, as well as demonstrating the ability to read and follow a recipe.
Pre-Employment Cooking
If you would like to work as a chef then this 16-week program will give you the basics. You'll gain the knowledge necessary to challenge the 1st year apprenticeship exam. Gaining these skills will allow you to enter the workforce as an apprentice.
