Congratulations! Choosing to become an electrician is an excellent career choice. The majority of electricians begin their career by enrolling in an electrician apprenticeship program such as this one. Being an electrician is never boring, there are always plenty of challenging and diverse opportunities to broaden your horizons or specialize in many aspects of the electrical trade.
Apprentices learn skills such as laying out, assembling, installing, repairing, maintaining and connecting electrical systems. They plan installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications. Electrical work can be indoors or outdoors, working environments vary with each job. Apprentices learn strict safety procedures to avoid injuries from electrical shock and falls.
The training includes a combination of on-the-job training with classes taught by our highly skilled instructors. We have first class facilities and equipment for you to practice your trade and you'll find our tuition is one of the lowest in the province.
