General Studies

General Studies allows students to sample courses from multiple program areas. general studies student

This gives students the flexibility to build an individualized course plan and meet career goals through interdisciplinary studies. The program is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Career Potential

Students completing the General Studies program can pursue further training or obtain employment in a variety of fields depending on their individual course choices.

Admissions

General Studies students must meet the expected course entrance requirements. Pre-requisites and/or admission requirements are outlined in other areas of the website i.e. Business Administration. Students interested in taking General Studies should contact a Portage College Student Advisor to discuss course placement.
