Welcome to our FREE ONLINE Preceptor Training Program!
The Preceptor Training website was developed by Portage College for the purpose of educating preceptors working with Prehospital Care and Practical Nurse students. However, you don't have to be working in the medical professions to benefit from this training. Anyone in a leadership position can take advantage of this free on-line course.
Preceptor Training is presented as an online module course, which outlines the characteristics and roles of the preceptor. The training focuses on the use of questioning and problem solving strategies, as well as communication and conflict resolution principles.
