Portage College will offer micro-credential training programs to City staff and officials under the terms of the agreement. From March 1, 2024, and running until February 28, 2027, participants will be eligible to enroll in one complimentary course annually.

Portage College, in collaboration with Canadian Natural Resources Limited (Canadian Natural), is set to unveil a poignant display as part of its Truth and Reconciliation Project of Heart initiative. The unveiling event will take place at the St. Paul Campus on April 9th at 1:00 PM.
