FASD and the Justice System

Join us to learn about the Lakeland Centre for FASD and its work in providing information and resources to understand the brain and the underlying causes of many of the behavioral symptoms of FASD; we will discuss navigating the justice system for persons diagnosed with FASD and their supporters.

Attendees will learn

• practical strategies and resources they can use when supporting an individual with FASD;

• what supports are available for those navigating the justice system; and

• how they can refer people to the Lakeland Centre for FASD , what services are offered, and how agencies can work together to provide optimum support
