Application Process

Ready to Apply? Here's how:

Submit your Application Online (credit card required):
Apply online to Portage College through Apply Alberta. If you attended high school or post-secondary in Alberta your transcripts will automatically be sent to Portage College at no cost to you.

Submit your Application using our PDF form ($50 Application Fee):
Once you click the link to the application, you must download the form to your desktop first before completing the form: Download
Note: To download the form Adobe Acrobat is required. This will allow you to fill out and submit the form by email.

Important: Applications are not processed until payment is received.  

Ways to pay your application fee:

  • By Fax: 780-623-5519 - Mastercard or Visa.
  • By Mail: Admissions Portage College, Box 417, Lac La Biche, Alberta T0A 2C0 - Mastercard, Visa or Cheque.
  • In Person: At one of these campuses, Cold LakeLac La Biche or St. Paul - Mastercard, Visa, Debit or Cash. 

Part-time students are welcome to register for individual courses. Credit weightings for each course are available on program pages.
