International Dark-Sky Week

Created in 2003 by high-school student Jennifer Barlow, International Dark Sky Week has grown to become a worldwide event and a key component of Global Astronomy Month. Each year it is held in April around Astronomy Day.

Did You Know? You can borrow telescopes from Stuart MacPherson Public Library, located in the Bold Center in Lac La Biche, to indulge your inner astronomer. All you need is a Lac La Biche County library card. Call (780) 623-7467 for more information.
