How to Discuss & Advise Youth on Discrimination Online
Thursday, September 28, 2023
Location Online
Time 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Adults -parents, guardians, teachers, support workers - worry about what youth look at online, how they interact with others, what they are exposed to, and how adults can support young people when they face discrimination online.

Participants in this session will better understand the shape and relevance of online activities youth engage in, as well as, access to tools that support productive conversations and guidance to safer internet use. In this session, we will also build capacity to report online hate or discrimination in both online games and social media.
