Sales Tools and Strategic Planning

This micro-credential focuses on the strategic side of sales, helping learners set realistic goals and manage customer relationships using modern tools. Students will learn how to align sales goals with seasonal trends and events, use prospect boards and CRM systems to track leads, and generate new business through partnerships with tourism boards, festivals, and social media. These skills are especially valuable in agritourism, where timing, community engagement, and local visibility are key to success.

Micro-credentials are short, concentrated groups of courses that are really flexible. You can take as many as you like, in any order, and because they are asynchronous you can take them at any time it suits you. You will be awarded a badge for each individual course, once you have completed all four courses you will gain your micro-credential.

The cost for each individual course listed below is $60. For more Information email: training@portagecollege.ca or call 780-623-5631 or toll-free at 1-888-745-0719.
