CSO/Flagging Safety

Common Safety Orientation

This Energy Safety Council half day course provides new workers with safety messaging that explains safe work practices and how to recognize and address hazards in the workplace. The course is designed to eliminate the need for redundant general orientation training by covering common workplace safety information. Participants will learn the 10 Life Saving Rules, emergency preparedness and response procedures, and how to report both incidents and near misses.

Flag Person Training

This ASCA (Alberta Construction Safety Association) half-day course is designed for those involved in the day-to-day operations where workers and the general public are exposed to hazards created by vehicles and/or equipment. Safety precautions must be in place for the protection of those who come in contact with the construction zone.
