
Students who are looking to attend Portage College have the option to try our 8-Day Student Guarantee program. This gives students 8 days to decide if the career program they are enrolled in – is the right fit.
If they’re not fully satisfied, the College will refund the tuition, recreation fee, technology fee, Students’ Association fee and book rental fees. The 8-Day Student Guarantee program excludes Apprenticeship programs, Continuing Education courses and programs with waitlists.
In order to qualify for our Fall 2021 8-Day Student Guarantee program, all tuition and fees must be paid as of August 16, 2021.
The 8-Day Student Guarantee program is open to full-time, part-time and international students. If you wish to withdraw you must do so within 8 days of the program start date. If a refund is required, it will be given within three to four weeks.
The Application fee is non-refundable.
No, rental fees are non-refundable.
Books are refundable up to 10 days after the course starts. Books need to be unopened if they were packaged. If books were not packaged, books need to be in new condition and no writing on the books. Students would need to provide POS receipt and detailed receipt to get a refund.

Yes, International students qualify for this campaign.
Depending on whether dropping a course or courses changes your load to part-time. If dropping the course makes your load part-time then you will be refunded for the difference between part-time and full-time. Your mandatory fees would be adjusted accordingly.
